I hope this isn’t simply for the benefit of certain visitors to Belgrade?
It most probably is. It’s always like this – some big shot from the tribunal is coming to check up on us in a couple of days on and we pretend like we’re actually doing something. When he comes, our guys will probably say something like: “Oooh, so you’ve arrived? We had no idea you were going to visit us! What a coincidence, we’ve just made an extraordinary effort to arrest Mladic couple of days ago! See how hard we’re working on this, eh?”
But it also looks like they’re testing the public to see if the real arrest will cause much fuss. I suspect the real arrest is near.
