Tilva Ros (IMDB) is a movie that generated a lot of buzz and interest lately in Serbia, and it’s no wonder – judging by the trailer it seems like a mixture of Kids, Jackass and Fight Club, with a strong social and political message. Filmed entirely in Bor, a city that serves as a living metaphor for failed privatization and Serbian-style capitalism.
UPDATE: Ok, I just watched the movie and it lives up to the hype, as far as I’m concerned. Unpretentious but powerful, low budget but looks amazing, no storyline but makes you happy and sad at the same time. Go see it.
