Slavija Square

Slavija square is one of the biggest city squares and, because of it's central location, one of the busiest. The square is interesting because of many things, one of them is that the grave of a famous Serbian socialist Dimitrije Tucovic is in the middle of it. Thousands of vehicles drive around the social-democrat's resting place every day, many drivers probably unaware of this fact. Many say that mister Tucovic wouldn't complain even if he was to somehow find out that he was not burried in a Christian style graveyard because he was an atheist. During the New Year holidays, the city council mounts Christmas lights on top, in order to make it even more cheerful.
Driving around the Slavija circular intersection is a separate story altogether. The rule is that the bigger car has advantage. If there is a traffic jam, be sure that there is a policeman regulating the traffic at the square.
