Kosancicev venac

Kosancicev venac is one of the places beside Skadarlija that you don't want to go wearing high heels - apparently the Ottoman builders, who taught us to build this kind of streets did not predict that some time in the future women will be forced to wear shoes on a stick. Two lovely cafes there - Kornjacha and Skica. Also do not miss to see the original place where the national library stood, destroyed in World War II, but the ruins are still there. Together with the library a lot of books disappeared as well, and together with books a lot of knowledge. The ruins still lay there to reminds the people what can be lost in a war, although they could be marked more appropriately.
