New safety and security rules at Belgrade airport
As of tomorrow, 10th of March, new security and safety measures will start to apply at Belgrade Airport Nikola Tesla too, so be advised before you start packing. This rules regulate the amout of liquid that can be carried inside the airplane as personal hand luggage, as well as the ways that liquid can be packed.
You can pack your liquids such as lip shine, drinks, parfumes and similar stuff into containers no bigger than 100 ml separately, and you will get a transparent plastic bag to put all those containers inside.
Total amount of liquid allowed per person’s hand luggage is 1 liter. Drinks and other goods you buy at the duty free shop must be packed and sealed right after purchase and can no longer be opened until you arrive at your destination.
All technical equipment, such as mobile phones, laptops, digital cameras will be checked closer than before.
All these new regulations threaten to slow down the proccess of check-in and boarding the plane, so i suppose it is also wise to come to the airport even earlier than before.
