Have info on Montenegro?
Question: “Have info on Montenegro? We are there in August”
Short question, but it needs elaborate answer, since there is soooo much to see and do in Montenegro.
However, there is a great site already covering Montenegro, so i can’t really add much to it. It’s www.visit-montenegro.com
My tip would be though, that you try and find secluded beaches, avoiding the most touristy ones, which of course, isn’t easy, and best beaches are reachable only by small boats, not even by foot and they can be found practicaly everywhere along the Montenegrean coast. Montenegreans are friendly people and most of them will help you find them and even drive you there if you just ask nicely.
Best cities are of course at the coast, Kotor, Herceg Novi and of course, posh Sveti Stefan.
I August temperatures can be very high, up to 40 degrees Celzius, so be careful with sun.
Another usefull thing: hitchhiking along the coast is very common in Montenegro, so you might try that too if you are traveling on the low budget.
