And now for something completely different

by Viktor on January 25, 2007

cirilicaCareful readers of the Belgrade 2.0 site have probably already noticed little flags in the top right corner, which will, if you click on them, provide guide to Belgrade in English, German, Italian and Spanish .

What you probably also noticed is that there is one language missing on the site – it’s not a world language by any mean but something that Hague refers to by the funny name b/h/s, The Language Formerly Known as Serbo-croatian, nowdays used in two alphabets, although not so much according to the new constitution. Yes, you guessed it – unlike most bloggers from these areas that start with Serbian as their primary language and then insert English blog after a while I took a road less traveled. But, there comes a time in a blogger’s life to freshen up, so I can safely say now that the blog in Serbian is on. I decided to start with a lighter theme, namely a guy robbing people off their hard earned money by making fools out of them on local TV stations. If you don’t speak Serbian yet, this show alone is the reason to learn it.

Now – don’t worry, this doesn’t mean that the English blog is going to suffer, it is still going to be a backbone of this site. Consider this a bonus to the already pleasant experience.

BACKBONE???

How is this when you have contributors who claim one thing but are too scared to follow through out of fear that they may loose their anonimity? American MI isn’t playing a role here is it?

Da, moy Srpski nea dobar…jebiga! Ya rezumem puno srpski yesik :) Da, ya sam Americanac! Zvaki dan ya pretcha Srpski! Ya voli moy sin puno! Yabemti mater svaki covek koja čitati ya ležati.

JEBIGA!

John!

John, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about (and i dont mean your Serbian).

If backbone isn’t a good word, than maybe central part of this site would be better for you?

Novala, tv prophet Milan is one of the best ways to learn Serbian – i saw it in your tarot card.

Bganon, we’ve been waiting very long for a new b92 post, i hope they are not giving you trouble there for taking such a long break.

Backbone is perfect actually. Just wish we all had one I guess.

Thanks,

John
