So, Joe Biden is coming to town. We all know by now all the security details of the visit: how many tons Biden’s car weighs, how thick the bulletproof windows are and how many policemen will help block the streets of Belgrade tomorrow.
What we don’t know is what is going to talk about, who is he going to talk to (best guess: Tadic and Cvetkovic) and is he going to bring some good news (not very likely) or is he going to bitch about something (most likely). It’s as if our politicians are doing their best to turn all the attention to the less important part of the visit – the security little prince is going to get.
It’s the first visit of some American high official in the last 30 years or so (the last one was Jimmy Carter). It’s funny that there were more diplomatic activities with the US during the communism than during the nationalism in the nineties and the national romantism in the 00’s, don’t you think?
So what do you think are the real reasons Biden is visiting Serbia right now, if you disregard that silly statement by US diplomats that this visit is going to ‘reset Serbian-American relations’? Is it fresh air? Tasty cevapcici? Or is he simply going to express his “deepest concern” over some issue Serbia has to resolve?
Until we find out, I must say it will be interesting to see how Belgrade city center is going to look tomorrow when they block all the main roads. I ‘ll let you know if I spot anything interesting, via twitter.

I think it’s a bad sign.
His visit to Bosnia is not a surprise, considering all those upheavals and turmoil over there… Talks about new constitution, criminal charges against Dodik etcetera… I think we’re in for some trouble there.
As for Serbia, I’ not sure he’s bearing gifts or a words of praise. My guess is that focus will be upon relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
The truth is that there can be no “reset” of our relations unless one of the sides seriously reconsiders it’s position towards Kosovo. I wouldn’t be surprised if Biden’s message is something like: “Oh, you still wanna bitch about Kosovo? Perhaps you would like to lose Vojvodina as well?”
Hhahah highhh official sooo funny..everyone here takes Biden for this akward dumb person…he will only say what he has been told to say on his meeting with American ambasador and some of their forgein policy and there you gooo…He should not be talked to he should be talked at so those who speak to him communicate their message to those who sent him. I mean dont forget this is a guy who gave up a secret bunker location to wich they take the president in case of emergency. He is just a messanger
Biden’s speech to the Bosnian parliament seems to have been pretty forceful. I wonder how he’ll choose to address a parliament where the alleged perpetrator of genocide was wished a happy birthday by the speaker, whose good wishes I understand were greeted with a round of applause.
Jo Biden with Lugar, Dole and Lieberman did more to demonization the Serbs, making them responsible for the Yugoslav wars. He was part of one of the great propaganda triumphs of our era. It was done so quickly, with such uniformity and uncritical zeal in the mainstream Western media, that disinformation had and still has, after almost two decades a field day. Biden is coming to tell the Serbian people to bend over one more time and if they don’t he will force you to bend over twice. I have lived in the West all my life and am amazed at the garbage you write on this blog and the garbage you have swallowed. Biden pictured with Mrs. Djindjic should tell you the whole story. Maybe you should have taken him to see RTS building and had a picture taken with the families whose children his words killed in that building as surely as the missile that his air force used. His nation is run by a government of liars and Biden is liar number one. Some of you will kiss his ass and thank him for calling you the asshole people. Well only shit people know an asshole and that is what Biden, Clinton, Albright, Dole, Lugar, and Lieberman and let’s not forgets the shit from London, Paris, Berlin and need I name any more. Oh yes there are a few at B92 and those others who support EU and NATO the Nazi, American, Terrorist, Organization.
People say that Biden said on some talk show that Serbs should be put in Nazi style concentration camps back in 1999. Does anyone have a clip of that?
