Again, i received this one on email – possibly photoshopped (see update below: it is photoshopped!), but I wouldn’t be surprised about anything coming from the US side of Serbian Orthodox Church. Good thing is that the Church knows which candidate is better, but I’m not sure if they know exactly why.
The sign say’s “Vote for the black guy, the other one is a faggot”, with “black” and “faggot” misspelled on Serbian.

UPDATE: Milos solves the mystery in the comments – it came from a prank site with blank church signs where you can write whatever you want.

This sign has to be photoshopped, as any church who put up a sign like this would lose there tax-exempt status (and have to start paying taxes) in a heartbeat. No church wants that.
Still, it’s amusing.
Well I kind of hope it’s photoshopped…
Just out of curiosity, would it be the political connotation or the discriminating message that would damage the tax-exempt status of a church?
Tax exempt organizations must not engage in political activities (such as endorsing presidential candidates)
Its most definitely photoshopped just look at the borders of the blue St. Jovan sign as well as the white space for letters on the right, it doesnt look right.
Besides that, you can make your own identical sign at http://www.churchsigngenerator.com/sign01.php
Marko, thanks for the explanation!
Milos, thanks for solving the mistery
and praise the good lord it’s not real!
So why you “wouldn’t be surprised about anything coming from the US side of Serbian Orthodox Church”? Or did this also sounded good like “about Montenegrian girls”?
No, I was thinking more about the way the Serbian church discriminates homosexuals. But it does sound good too.
The Orthodox Church does not “disriminate” against any individual. It simply does what it has done since Pentecost of A.D. 33: proclaim the Truth of Jesus Christ to all mankind, with the admonition of Christ Himself – Repent! The Holy Orthodox Church is NOT a branch of the Red Cross. It is NOT a social club. It is the assembly of the Living God and it takes its orders from the teachings of Christ once delivered. All men are free to embrace Christ through His Church, but they are NOT free to change the Church – the Church will change them – if they hope to be saved. If this offends anyone then they can shop for a “church” which suits their beliefs. If someone is a homosexualist then they should join the Episcopalians where their lifestyle is acceptable, since the church of England long ago lost its Theology.
