Judge: Good afternoon! Please, introduce yourself.
Accused: Boris Tadić.
Judge: Your occupation?
Accused: Psychologist.
Judge: Where is your work located?
Accused: My work address is Andrićev venac 1.
Judge: Is that a psychological institution?
Accused: That’s the institution of the President of the Republic.

Yes, this is the real transcript of President Tadić’s conversation with the judge at Belgrade city misdemeanor court after he was charged (and later pleaded guilty) to drinking in vicinity of the football stadium right after the match against Romania. Thanks to Blic reporters for capturing this transcript.

There’s more on this at the new (and uber-cool) “istinomer” site. Viktor, if you haven’t seen it, I encourage you and your readers to check it out. http://istinomer.rs/sr/bonus/Retrovizor/story/132/%C5%A0ampanjski+proces.html Sorry, only in Serbian, but you can always use google translate for help. Best!

David, it’s great to see that Živkov still has a venue after he got sacked from B92.

Viktor, after that dude walked in with a bomb into Andrićev venac 1, it’s very obvious that their metal detector doesn’t detect loonies! (see what I done there? canadians call their 1 dollar coin a loonie, so it would get detected by a metal detector – a very world conscious pun, and you thought I was just stringing up words, ha? :)

Excellent site. Belgrade is an incredible city. I would move there tomorrow. I am, as you state at the top of your page, Belgraded! Anyway, linked to!

Best, Sean.
