So you are in Belgrade and want to party for the New Year’s eve, eh? And there’s only three days left… don’t worry, Belgrade citizens love to party, so you’ll have a chance of attending the New Year’s eve re-run if you miss the real thing. Some clubs even offer re-run of the re-run if you are not completely wasted after that.
I did the dirty job of finding the best places to party like it’s 2009.

This is what most clubs in Belgrade have to offer: entrance fee from 25-50 Euros, most drinks included in the price, and some snacks, with the danger of both drinks and the snacks running out somewhere in the middle of the night. A generic party band is playing cover songs from Balkans and possibly a foreign tune every now and then. At midnight – a brass band is coming in and playing so loud that nobody hears anything. Most clubs count on the fact that you will manage to get so drunk and snag somebody in the process that you won’t mind the party being generally turbo folk crap.

I agree that 2009 NY’s eve wan’t anything special.In case you went to the main square where Goran Bregovic had a concert it would be fun.Hiwever I spent the whole evening at friend’s place listening to folk music,just couldn’t stand it. But,if one has organized evening with friends,dinner,plus club it would be nice
