Some consider it a sport, others go to the bowling alley to hang out with the friends over a beer. So far the only kind of bowling we had in Belgrade was European style bowling with smaller hole-less balls. Well, the balls got the holes now and the bowling alley got much much bigger. Their website is still under construction, but here’s what i managed to find out there: price: around 1200 din/hour, one small beer is around 90 din. The address is Zemun (yeah, yeah, i know what some are gonna say, Zemun is NOT Belgrade, well, it’s close enough), Dobanovačka 56, 11080 Beograd (Zemun), Srbija, near the FC Zemun stadium, and the map is right here.
The bowling alley is done in so called ‘disco-bowling’ style, with blacklights, fluorescent balls and stuff like that.
I still haven’t checked out the other new bowling alley at Pinki sport centre (again in Zemun) but Marko says it’s cool, from what i read it’s similar to the first one.
I reckon this will be one less thing for Americans in Belgrade to whine about, now what were the other things i remember – good peanut butter was one of them, I’m sure…

First time I’ve heard about bowling in Serbia but we had bowling in Yugoslavia (ok current day Croatia) on the island of Krk.
Those were the days… indoor, outdoor bowling, table tennis, mini (crazy) golf, table football etc.
You don’t have to be American to appreciate a really decent peanut butter.
Nice write up…usually I never reply to these thing but this time I will,Thanks for the great info.
