But I was hoping that something else will trigger it other than your usual drooling foreign guys impressions you see on net or hear from various sources: “Dude, they have the most beautiful girls there, I swear!” or “Man, Serbia is heaven on earth as for the girls are concerned!” or stuff like that.
No, I had to wait for at least a couple of women to mention it in order to conclude that there just might be something in all these drooling guys’ claims. And here they are:

National body shape? Too much to choose from? Something is clearly going on here. Is it even possible to determine in one nation or in one region, say, that the women are, even generally speaking, better looking than somewhere else? Or is it just another stereotype? Well, even if it is, at least it’s a good kind of stereotype. I think. And what about us guys? Nobody mentions us, I guess we have to conclude that we are average joes. Oh well.

I was dumped for a Serbian chick. All I can say is, despite this, even the “ugly” Serbian girls look interesting. It’s the difficult history, wide gene pool, recent “opening” up of Yugoslavia combined that really make them stand out. However, some can look extremely trashy.
p.s. However, I still think France, Spain, Italy and truly multicultural countries like USA and Australia breed the best looking girls overall. It’s just that Serbian/Croatia etc have been closed up in a way for so long makes you notice them as “unique”. Russian girls are also very beautiful but more snobby and hard to get, maybe?

Those pageants dont tell you anything. Everyone can have thier own opinion. Im not really a fan of pale, northern european girls. But i still think they are nice, and I would like to go to Sweden and other northern european countries to SEE FOR MYSELF.
I havnt travelled many places, but I can say that serbian girls are the hottest I have seen in my travels.

Well I think Dragana Atlija came across as straight-forward and sensible. She also won the “Body Beautiful” contest at an international pageant, so she was recognized as one with the best figures.
The thing about the Miss Universe contest though, is it is owned by Donald Trump and NBC, and most all the judges are based in the U.S. (working there or citizens.
Donald Trump even admitted how he selected the top 10 finalists. There is often a political slant and corruption in these contests anyway. Donald Trump has his own kind of taste and that is what came through in the finalists due to his ownership of the event.
Many people watching often disagree with the one named the winner as well.
The facts are, as well, that countries like the U.S., Britain and Germany have higher rates of obesity than Serbia and the general population will look plumper, shorter and less fit than the average Serb. So while they can pick out some beauties out of their much larger population, the average is probably a lesser-looker.
Well, ive spent the past half hour reading through this blog and i have to say theres been quite a lot of respectable and retarded comments from all sorts of people with varied opinions. Personally i can say from living here (Belgrade) since November 2009 that i think the city is great and the women are the most gorgeous women i have ever seen. Period. Ive been in a relationship with a Serbian woman for almost a year now and i have to say shes the most beautiful girl ive ever been with. Not only is she great looking but she is one of the most caring and loving women i have ever met. Shes very independent and strong willed when it comes to making a career for herself and i can only respect that off anyone on this planet. So far, my time here has been great and the people ive met are very open minded and educated. Much respect. However, we will both be leaving Belgrade in the summer to further are careers together. Im looking forward to seeing this vibrant city in the Spring time !!!

We serbs do not hate catholic people. We hate Croatia for the crimes they commited against us and not for the religion. We like catholic countries like Poland. And for the marriage part, it is not too important for us to get married but if our partner propose to us of course we would say yes and be very happy. And we do not have problems if our partner is a catholic or buddhist. I know a girl that is half polish and half serbian and Serbia & Poland have always been friend countries so why not?
Okay, I’ve come to this conclusion. Serbians basically look Greek except for the exaggerated features. They look Greek X Anglo in general – 70% Greek, 30% Anglo. I also think Serbs are more athletic in build than anglos.
