An interesting trailer for an upcoming low budget movie that could shake the stale Serbian cinematography:
The Life and Death of a Porno Gang – (Zivot i smrt porno bande – trejler) directed by Mladen Djordjevic
Porn, blood, gore, violence, drugs and rocknroll. We definetely need more films like this.

The author is already pretty famous after his hit film dealing with the porn industry in our country, Made in Serbia – you can see a short clip here where the main actor is watching “The first Yugoslav porn flick”, as the caption says (it actually looks more like an old school Turbo Folk video):

The long awaited and postproduced Charlstone and Vendetta is finally in the cinemas and the reactions are pretty much ok so far, here’s the trailer we mentioned last year:

Another young director, Stevan Filipovic, is creating controversies with his second movie, Skinning, “film about the rise and fall of the young Belgrade schoolboy who becomes a leader of a neo/Nazi skinhead pack.” Trailer:

Stevan’s first movie, Sejtanov ratnik, a teen slasher/comedy got pretty good reviews from both the critics and the audience:

And the crew of the upcoming movie “Doba nevinosti”, The age of virginity is reporting about the progress on their popular blog, as well as what’s going on with the other Serbian movies. Here’s the trailer:

Hopefully some of those will return the audience into our empty cinemas.
