Sure, you can always see Belgrade from space on Google Maps. It has become so common that we forget how awesome and magical this thing that we’re doing really is.
But – can you see Belgrade by night on Google Maps, with all the street lights creating an illusion of veins or nerves in a living organism? For that, you’d have to take a look at this beautiful photo made by Russian cosmonaut Anatoli Alekseyevich Ivanishin from the International Space Station. I accidentally caught the glimpse of it on twitter today. Enjoy!
