Belgrade, Serbia

About

Most foreign guides will treat Belgrade like Hitchhikers guide through Galaxy treats Earth, only with a few pages, at best. This one is created to fill the gap, to help those that plan to come, and to help others decide whether to come at all. It is supposed to be honest in a way that you can read about the bad things as well as the good ones, the places to avoid as well as the places not to be missed.

Site was started at the end of 2005, and since changed many addresses and names, currently settling at belgraded.com. Thanks to the lack of blogs focusing on Belgrade and Serbia, and the variety of styles, the number of subscribed readers grew slowly, reaching the number of 500+ at the moment. The range of subjects and topics of the blogs is rather wide, which means that we will write about anything interesting that has any vague connection with Belgrade, Serbia, and sometimes even so wide as the Balkans region.

The site was quoted many Internet magazines and papers such as New York Times, Guardian and Global Voices.
