A Hard Day’s Night – Belgrade’s Beatles Tribute Band
After last article about Beatles cover band Rubber Soul, it was brought to my attention by JJ Beba that the world is celebrating 40 years of the White Album this November, so in this regard, here’s another interesting bit from Belgrade and a recommendation for a night out.
In Dusanova street 13 there’s a club “Atom” (founded by students of Electro-technical faculty, hence the name) where every month’s last Friday a Beatles tribute band called The BestBeat is rocking inside club’s walls.
I’m pointing this out, because they sound really good and make a great show. Era, Damjan and co can bring a lot of you back to your childhood with their performance, plus create some new Beatles fan on the way. Of course, everybody in the club knows every word of every song, which together with band’s adequate suits and instruments makes the atmosphere really great:
One other thing I noticed on their site is that they can rarely show this talent to the world because they almost never get visas to perform outside Serbia’s borders, on various Beatles fans’ festivals and such. But if you find yourself in Belgrade on the last Friday of a month, try to see if they have a gig at Atom and visit, it’s really great fun!
